Most Worn Shoes • Autumn & Winter

Creepers by Undergound:
The frist pair of shoes that I wore a lot during last Autumn and Winter, were my very trusty Creepers! When I got these shoes in Spring last year, I wore them a lot during Spring, Summer and Autumn. When it came to winter however it got a little too cold to wear them because the ankles are very low and would create a breeze that would give me the chills! I remember when I first wore them, they felt very heavy and new to walk in because they feel very different to normal trainers. I never wear normal socks or jeans when I wear them, because I don't think it works, so I usually wear other types of trousers, skirts, or leggings, with frilly short socks.

Wedged Creepers by Undergound:
As Creepers have been brought up, another pair of shoes that made their way on to my top list of shoes, where my Wedged Creepers by Underground. I love my flat Creepers enormously, so when they were reduced from £110 to £40 in the Christmas sales, I took the chance! They weren't very practical when it snowed or was slippery, because they are heels, but when the weather was alright, I would try and wear these! The main reason I wore these a lot are because they are the most comfy heels that my feet have ever had to walk in! The rubbery sole and thick surrounding of the shoe keep your feet very comfortable, just like the flat Creepers. They are very unusual looking, so when it comes to styling them I usually make them a big piece in the outfit. I usually go for plane black tights, with a nice skirt or dress.

Chelsea Boots by Topshop:
When I needed shoes for a smart occasion, I went for this pair of Chelsea Boots from Topshop. I received these as a birthday present from my uncles in October after trying them on in the shop. I thought they looked very sophisticated and they felt very comfortable to walk in, and I figured they would work well for school. I wore them a lot during Autumn, however when the weather started getting very bad, I stopped wearing them because the snow would ruin the material. My favourite part of them is that they remind me a little of horse riding boots, which makes it easy to style them into a casual outfit as well as formal.

Ankle High Ugg Boots by Ugg:
These Uggs have been in my life for well over two years now and they have never let me down. Whenever I need an easy pair of shoes to put on and are nice are warm, I go for these. Since I have worn them countless times the fur on the inside of the shoe has started to shed a bit, and the soles at the back have worn away ever so slightly. They are also quite dirty because it's hard to keep a white pair of shoes super clean, however I still love them! I find they work well with most outfits whether it was a pair of jeans and a blouse, or a pair of tights and a skirt, because they are plain looking.

Knee High Ugg Boots (Limited Edition) by Ugg:
These Knee High Ugg Boots are a hand me down from my lovely mum!  She bought them for herself at least five years ago, and recently she had an enough of them and thought it would be nice if I would take them on. The magical thing with Ugg Boots, is no matter how old they are, they never seem to loose their warmth and comfort. Whenever there was a very cold day during the last few months, these were amazing because they would keep your whole bottom part of your legs very warm, so therefore the whole body. When it comes down to styling these boots, I usually wore them with an outfit that consisted of comfy clothes, like jumpers and cardigans, because the shoes looks warm and happy.

 Dr. Martens by Airwair:
Beautiful. Amazing. I love these shoes. My mum and I hit the Christmas Sales December just gone which was when I laid my eyes on these. I had had my eye on some Dr. Martens for a while, but never had the chance to try them on. At first they were very hard and rough, and were slightly painful around the ankles. The first time I wore them out I got a blister, however over time they have slowly become a lot more flexible and easier to walk in. They are very warm and great shoes for when the weather is bad, because they prevent you from slipping on the ice, keep your feet warm, and jazz up your outfit! These are defiantly one of the best shoes to style with an outfit, because I find my self usually dressing around the shoes instead of the clothes.

 Timberland Boots by Timberland:
Last but definitely not least, I introduce to you my Timberlands. I got these at the beginning of Winter in 2011, and ever since then they have been very worthy to me. Just like the Docs, these boots are amazing for when the weather is bad. They're workman boots, so they are built to be warm and are waterproof. When the ground is icy, they stop you from slipping, so during out Winter which had many days when the floor was slippery, I would wear these shoes. They are also a big style item, because styling the Timberlands is very fun and can really bring an outfit together!

Below is a video of the shoes with me talking about them, which was very fun to film so be sure to take a look! I hope you enjoyed this blog post and the video, and it would be lovely if you could give  thumbs up and follow as it lets me know people like what I'm doing! I hope you all have a wonderful day! xoxo

What I Ate Wednesday #3

Breakfast 07.20:
On Wednesday's for breakfast I ate a bowl of Dorset Cereal. I'm trying almond milk for a change, instead of Soya milk. I usually have soya milk whenever I have cereal or porridge so this was a change. It didn't taste to different to very low fat dairy milk which isn't very nice by itself, but when mixed with porridge or cereal I don't taste the difference! I added blueberries on top for some extra fruity goodness!

Snack 10.00:
For my first snack of the day I packed myself some green grapes and blueberries. I mixed a generous amount of each because I need a fair bit of fruit to feel fuller.

Lunch 12.05:
For lunch I had some packed sushi! I love sushi and it fills me so this is a great lunch. My mum brought it for me as a treat so that was very nice! In this packet there were four salmon sushi's and four tuna suhsi.

Snack 15.10:
For my snack later I treated myself to a yummy berry cupcake from our local bakery. I love the cupcakes they make because the top is very much like apple crumble they way it's crispy, and in the middle is soft. The jam they use is very delicious so I enjoyed that!

Dinner 19.45:
For dinner I had three slices of four mozzarella and tomato pizza, with extra Cheddar cheese! On the side we had some salad with croutons, little slices of parmesan cheese, and honey mustard dressing. Together it tasted very yummy! We added some cheddar cheese on the top of the pizza because in places it looked like there wasn't enough cheese so we were cheeky and added some more!

This What I Ate Wednesday was a little late because I've been very busy with school and didn't have time to edit the picture and write up my blog! It's better a little late than never though, so I hope you enjoyed it! xoxo

What I ate Wednesday #2

Breakfast 09.30
For breakfast this week I've been trying to get in one portion of fruit. Fruit as energy that you need in the morning it ticks of one healthy thing of the day! Today's breakfast was some bulgarian yoghurt, with 1 whole banana chopped up into little pieces. The yoghurt by itself is quite flavourless, so on top I sprinkled some cinnamon and drizzled some honey to add flavour. The mix of banana, honey and cinnamon is very delicious! This lasted me until lunch time, before I got hungry.

 Lunch 13.00
By the middle of the day I get very hungry, but seeing as I was in an exam at lunch time I had to wait a little longer. Also, by midday I crave something sweet so I usually have something healthy and a little treat. At the moment I've been loving bagels so it isn't a surprise that that's what I ate. I had one whole bagel sliced in half, one half had low fat cream cheese with sliced avocado, one quarter with a little butter and jam, and the last quarter with a little butter and chocolate sprinkles. Bagels are very filling so this keep me going for a long time.

Dinner 19.00
For dinner we had pasta planned but realised we didn't have pasta sauce so we improvised! We boiled some fresh tagliatelle pasta, and added it to a wok. In the wok we cooked tofu, fresh cut up tomatoes and tikka masala curry sauce! Strangely it worked very well, it was just a little odd eating pasta which would usually be rice! On the side we had some salad leaves.

Outfit Of The Day • Here comes the Sun

Hey everyone! Spring is finally here, the sun is shining and I can smell summer is on its way. When I woke up I looked out the window and saw the sun was very bright and the sky was blue, so I took a look at the weather forecast and to my delight it read 13 degrees! Now that may not sound like a lot, however our winter over here has been very long and has never peeked 5 degrees. It was time I took advantage of this moment and wore something other than thick boots on my feet. I went for some spiked white flat from Topshop. As it's still not that warm, I wore some jeggings from New Look and a jumper with lots of holes. This was very beneficial because when the sun shined, I could feel the heat on my arms and the refreshing breeze. I paired all of this with my eagle chain necklace also from Topshop.

I hope you enjoyed this blog and that summer is coming to you soon! xoxo

What I ate Wednesday #1

Breakfast 07.00
I was in a rush today so I went for an easy breakfast, of granola and soyamilk. The reason why I eat Dorset Cerieals is because their ingrediants are rich in fibre and food that gives you the energy you need in the morning. It keep me full for a good two hours if I'm busy and all the way until lunch if I'm having a lazy day! My favourite at the moment is the Honey Granola, the mix of honey and different nuts and seeds is abserlutely delicious! For a month now I have gone of dairy milk and swapped to soya milk because it contains less fat and nutritions like calcium and vitimins that are very healthy.

Snack 10.00
As a mid-morning snack I drank a little bottle of Kiwi, apple and Lime Innocent smoothie. I love these smoothies because they are healthy and tasty at the same time, and it contains two of my five a day. We usually don't buy the little bottles like these because they are very pricey as they are almost the same price as the large carton box! Some were on offer so we decided we could get some as they are easy to take to school.

Lunch 12.00
This is a typical lunch of mine to take to school because it's easy too make, tasty and quite healthy. I take two slices of brown bread, and if possible I go for a bagel or any whole grain product, and spread a generous amount of low fat cream cheese on. I go for low fat cream cheese because to me it taste exactly the same as the normal one and it contains less fat. For nutrition I put a layer of salmon. I love the taste of salmon and it contains healthy oils and fats your body needs. Usually I would add another layer of some salad leaves however we were out so I went without!

Snack 14.10
I've started to create my own flavour of yoghurt so I know exactly what i'm putting eating! At the moment for the yogurt I am using Bulgarian style yoghurt. In this particular yoghurt I made, I added a small handful of dried cranberries and some left over juice from a glass of forest fruits. This glass originally had lots of different forest berries, but the berries were finished and I didn't want to waste the fruity juice. Since I take it too school I put it in a little lunch box.

Dinner 19.00
Hope alone I wanted to make something that was easy and yummy! You can never go wrong with pasta so I cooked some spaghetti. For topping I heated up some ready made cheese sauce and cooked some tofu. I find tofu quite tasty and it's a lot healthier than meat so I thought it was a good option.

This was my very first What I ate Wednesday and want to do them every week! I think it's interesting seeing what other bloggers are eating so I wanted to give it a go! Hope you enjoyed it xoxo
