This weekend I got home from a wonderful week in Sardinia, an Island off the coast of Italy, which I was lucky enough to spend it with my boyfriend and his family! Above are some pictures that I was able to take of my time there, and as you can see there is a lot of natural bright blues and greens, blue sky, aqua sea and green plants.

As you can imagine, the weather was beautiful! When it was day time the weather was hot, especially during siesta time, and the evenings were perfect. Not once did I need to wear trousers or a thick jacket when the sun went down!

The hotel that we stayed at had a lovely big pool which I swam in at least once everyday! The hotel was also a five minute walk from the beach. At every beach that we went to, the sea was warm and refreshing due to the heat. One of the days we went canyoning, climbing and hiking through a beautiful   canyon that hadn't been disturbed by humans but only nature itself, so after being busy in the heat, the beach we ended our hike at was paradise.

The landscape in Sardinia is spectacular. There is a massive contrast between there and where I live. Where I live the landscape is pretty much flat and rather dull but Sardinia is full of mountains, cliffs, beaches and other beautiful natural features.

I already miss waking up and walking in the warmth next to palm trees to breakfast and walking back from dinner in the cool summer evening breeze with the clear night sky above me. I do hope to visit Sardinia again or somewhere very similar in my life time and really recommend it for a holiday destination! monicaalicee xoxo

Outfit Of The Day ● Light in the Dark

 Hello everyone! Sorry that I haven't posted in over a week. I just got back from a very fun school trip, Model United Nations! I hope you're all doing well!

This Outfit Of The Day is also an Outfit Of The Night, because I wore this when I went out the other week. The bright dress is from New Look which I paired with some black tights. I couldn't find any skin tone tights and it was also not too warm so they kept me warm. My feather earrings are also from New Look and surprise, my bag is also from New Look! A very New Look outfit!

Outfit Of The Day ● Sunglasses and Daisies

 Hello everyone! The sun has finally come out to say "hi!" so I delved into my sunglasses and got out a very summary dress! I didn't trust the weather completely because it felt to good to be true, so I wore tights. I chose this very fun pinafore dress with lots of daisies, which I got recently from New Look. My cropped denim shirt I am wearing with it is from Topshop which I thought complemented the colours really well. For my bottom half I went very black, because I wanted the attention to be on the top half of the outfit. I made sure it wasn't plane however, with these black side buckle boots and some black frilly socks. My sunglasses are from Topshop and came in handy when the sun shined!

Outfit Of The Day ▲ Hula In The Cold

Heya! Last week I was back in London for a few days and was out and about doing lots of things. This outfit was one of the ones I put together when the family went bowling for my Granddad's birthday!

The very colourful jumper is from Topshop, which I was very happy I found in the sale. I eyed it up in the summer but thought it was too much money, but since it was reduced I went for it! The skinny midnight blue jean leggings are also from Topshop. They are very stretchy and comfy, great for bowling. The black boots are from Office. I love these because they are revealing at the sides so when you wear funky socks they can be very fun! My bag's from Accessories and is faux leather.
